Written for and dedicated to my niece Jessica on the occasion of her graduation from 5th grade, A New Hope was used as the background music for a slideshow featuring hundreds of photos of all the 5th graders from the Class of 2010 at New Hope Elementary School. Hillsborough, NC. The piece begins rather solemnly with a hint of nostalgia reflecting on the times the students shared together.
