[Intro]
Dm G C C/B Am G F G

[Verse 1]
        F
Well I held you like a lover
       G C C/B Am G
Happy hands, your elbow in the appropriate place
    F
And we ignored our others'
        G C C/B Am G
Happy plans for that delicate look upon your face
    F
Our bodies moved and hardened
        G
Hurting parts of your garden
     C C/B
With no room for a pardon
     Am G F G
In a place where no one knows what we have done

[Chorus]
        Dm G
Do you come
                   C C/B Am G
Together ever with him?
          Dm G
And is he dark enough?
          C C/B Am G
Enough to see your light?
           Dm G
And do you brush your teeth before you kiss?
       C C/B Am G
Do you miss my smell?
          Dm G
And is he bold enough to take you on?
       C C/B Am G
Do you feel like you belong?
            F G
And does he drive you wild?
        C C/B Am G
Or just mildly free?
           F G
What about me?

[Verse 2]
         F
Well you held me like a lover
       G
Sweaty hands
                    C C/B Am G
And my foot in the appropriate place
       F G
We use cushions to cover happy glands
                     C C/B Am G
In the mild issue of our disgrace
    F
Our minds pressed and guarded
          G
While our flesh disregarded
    C C/B Am
The lack of space for the light-hearted
        G F G
In the boon that beats our drum

[Bridge]
       F
Well I know I make you cry
      G
And I know sometimes you wanna die
    C C/B Am G
But do you really feel alive without me?
          F
If so, be free
                      G
If not, leave him for me
                     C C/B Am G
Before one of us has accidental babies
              F G
For we are in love

[Chorus 2]
        Dm G
Do you come
                   C C/B Am G
Together ever with him?
          Dm G
And is he dark enough?
          C C/B Am G
Enough to see your light?
           Dm G
And do you brush your teeth before you kiss?
       C C/B Am G
Do you miss my smell?
          Dm G
And is he bold enough to take you on?
       C C/B Am G
Do you feel like you belong?
            F G
And does he drive you wild?
        C C/B Am G
Or just mildly free?
           F
What about me?
           G
What about me?

I play C/B like this. (C/B Major 9th) Sounds good, and it's a simple change from the C chord.E|--0-------------|B|--1-------------|G|--0-------------|D|--0-------------|A|--2-------------|E|--x-------------|

I like to play the C/B by moving my 3rd and 4th fingers down a string, I believe that makes it a C/G or something. --0-- --1-- --0-- --0-- --2-- --3--
